My appt. with Dr. K. went fine today...as soon as she walked in and shut the door I was unzipping that horrible surgical bra and pulling that baby off. She said everything looks ok. The right side is a little higher than the left but when we looked back at the pics they were that way with the expanders. She would still like for them to come in closer together so she taught me how to massage them....yep, I have to train these babies....3 times a day! I am sure Bret would be happy to take care of that "work" for me!
She said my incisions look fine and I just need to take it easy with the arms for a few more weeks...I guess I won't be running any marathons any time soon...I had taken my new bra with me so I put that one on and happily pitched the tortuous surgical bra into the trash can. Sadly, the new underwire doesn't feel a whole lot better...I have had on 3 different types today in hopes of finding one that doesn't feel so uncomfortable. Oh well, no pain, no gain!

Jan, you crack me up! Glad your recovery is coming along so well! I've learned now that the girls are trainable....hmmm something new for the day. Take care!

I'm glad your appt. went well and you could get rid of that awful thing. I am sure as your incisions heal that the pain will be more tolerable with the underwires!

Hi Jan - I tried to get on last night to get caught up - but for some dumb reason I just couldn't get to your site... I finally gave up. It was late and I needed to hit the hay. WOW, what fun it was to catch up on you! I am SO HAPPY that you've now got this behind you! Kay said such a nice thing in the post before! I'm sure you look absolutely fabulous!!!! Now I never used to like underwire bras - but I've been hooked for years on Body by Victoria bras (Victoria Secret) - rather pricey - but your new twins DESERVE that and it would be money well spent.... You may want to try that. I'm glad you are getting along better. Another milestone behind you - and now you really can move FORWARD - huh!!!!??? I'm so happy you are at that point now! - finally..... Well, I best get back at it. Just HAD to check in on you - and tell you how PROUD I am of you!!!!!! You have been very brave through this whole process. It's going to be wonderful seeing how many more lives you will touch - because of this experience. That has already begun!!!! I love you Jan! Sue

Jan, I just can't believe you peaked! You silly goose! I laughed so hard when I read that..... Glad to hear the foobs are looking pretty good. Be sure and follow doctor's instructions and massage, massage, massage. I hope the underwire bra gets better as you heal.
