Just wanted to do a quick upate in between naps....I am feeling ok....I think the gas pain has ended...that kind of felt like having a huge butcher knife permanently stuck in my right shoulder blade....now I just have the pain around the belly button which is where the ovaries came out. The pain meds were driving me nut....for some reason they were making my face and upper body itch like crazy so that was keeping me from sleeping...now I am just using the ativan to try to make up for the sleep.
My first experience with B North Hospital was fine....everyone that we came in contact with was very nice.
Bret and the kids have been taking great care of me so I am very thankful for that. Thanks so much to Heather for keeping Jillian the night after the surgery and thanks to the Galbergs for the yummy soup last night.
My heart is so sad because I heard that an old friend, Steve Cox, passed away suddenly on Thursday morning at home. Steve and I worked together for many, many years in Vermilion, Crawfordsville and even long distance when I was in Georgia...he was only 52...too young to die....my prayers go out to his entire family during this difficult time.....
