Sweet Potato Casserole!
That was the craving for lunch! We got home about 11:30 and she ate some sweet potato casserole and visited with her mom and dad while I went to fill the drug prescriptions and pick up a couple items at the store. Tyler and I moved a recliner up to the bedroom for her and set up a little "recovery room" where she has all the conveniences handy. She started getting tired and I pulled a PM on her (drained her tubes)(preventative maintenance for you girls that don't know what a PM is), gave her some more drugs and she's off to the peaceful rest she needs for a few hours.

What a wonderful male nurse you are becoming Bret! No really, I am sure I speak for all on here when I thank you for taking such good care of Jan. I know these posts are always directed to her but know that we are all thanking God that she has you in her life, not many men would know what a PM is! Sounds like you are training Tyler as well! Take care of her and tell her we all send our love! Kay
yum, yum. Makes me think of Thanksgiving and Christmas... that's about the only time I really eat sweet potatoe casserole! Glad you had an appetite. Listen to the hubby. He knows what he's talking about - regarding the pain meds.... Give your body time to heal. It's been thru a MAJOR ordeal~ Love you and can't wait to hear your voice! Take care.... Sue (the pest)
YEAH - YEAH - YEAH!!!! I knew you would make it through this and it is even better than we all imagined. There's no stopping you now!!! I will continue to pray for your recovery and more sweet potato casserole!!!! Love ya!
