Farewell to the Bad Boob & its' Evil Twin...

I want to thank all of you for your blog posts, calls and emails today...they really lifted my spirits. I went out for a little alone time tonight....walked around Borders and Wal-Mart and came home and ate some chocolate before bed....I have 43 minutes left to indulge in anything else I may want before midnight...seems like if you have a late surgery like me the cut off time should be later than midnight...don't you think??

I want to say in advance that I appreciate all of your prayers tomorrow...I am blessed to have so many people praying for me and I know God will hear those prayers and get me through this.

Surgery is not supposed to start until 1:00 and then Bret will give Kay a call and she can post an update....I will write again soon...love to all - Jan

Hi Jan,

I've been thinking about since I saw you on Saturday. I could tell you had a lot on your mind, which is to be expected. There was a part of me that just wanted to grab you and "squeeze the cancer out of you"!! If it could only be that easy!!
You are so right in knowing that God has a plan for you. You may not understand exactly what it is at this time, but when this is all done, I'm sure you will. Just like when you saw that young girl in the wig shop, I'm sure you stopping to talk to her helped her deal with it in some way. You are such a kind hearted person and touch so many people in so many ways that you are not even aware of yourself.
I will be praying for you today and hope that everything will go smoothly.
Your strength, courage and wisdom have been such an inspiration to us all.
Take care and get lots of rest. I'll be waiting for Kay's post.
Sending you lots of hugs & love your way.
Love,
Sheryl
