Good news....Dr. Lewis called to check in after surgery and said the pathology came back clean...the crazy thing is that she called me on Saturday and I didn't remember that she called until today....people that are drugged up should not use phones is the lesson here.
Anyway, I am feeling ok...just amazed at how little energy I have. I went out of the house for the first time today since Thursday...I was able to make one slow trip around the house...came back in and started having bad hot flashes. The pain is very manageable. Nurse Bret is still taking great care of me and keeping the kids on track while I lay in bed and nap....what a good hubby I have..
Thanks to the Harmon's for a wonderful dinner last night...your meatloaf rocks!! Thanks to everyone else that has sent cards, etc.....we are so blessed to be supported by so many wonderful people.

I just wanted to make sure you kew I was thinking about you (always):) So glad you're doing OK. Just take it easy and let your body heal - OK? We had a great weekend. Jack and I went away for the night Saturday night for our 17th anniversary. We had a great time! JD stayed with Jay and Lisa - so you know how that goes - "spoilage". hey Jan - hoping you are feeling good today! It's beautiful here today. I took a nice, long walk on my lunch hour! Felt great..... I'll be going to Steve's funeral tonight. I'm still so sad about that! Well, hope you are having a good day..... Sue
Hi Jan - Hope you are up and about and feeling pretty good!? I went to Steve's funeral last night. His family seemed to be doing quite well.... could possibly still be in shock - I don't know. Steven was there - and Babby too (Steve's ex wife)... I chatted with her for a little while. Steve's son is married and has a baby.... He grew up into quite a handsome young man. He's in the air force. There were a lot of Nucor people there for the funeral. It was short and sweet... I cried a ton. It's just he was so young and was such a great friend - I know you feel the same exact way..... well, on to cheerier things.... Are you guys having spring weather? We are here and IT FEELS GREAT!!!! I've started walking again on my lunch hour - which is good for my body and mind! :) Or so I like to think.... I'm ready for a nice weekend. Mother's day. Will you get to see your mom?
