Middleton's Barber Shop is Open for Business!

My hair is continuing to fall out by the hand fulls so after we got the kids off to school we put a sheet down in the bathroom floor and starting cutting. I did most of the front and Bret cut off the back and then added more layers throughout. I wasn't able to style it much because every time you touch it more comes out....I thought this would be a good thing to have for a few days to give the kids some time to get used to my changing styles. I showed Jillian a pic of a little girl kissing her Mom who was bald and she got pretty upset and just kept asking me why I had to take the meds and when my normal hair will come back....hopefully, this will get easier on her as time passes.

I am feeling okay after treatment yesterday. Kind of loopy but able to function. Fingers crossed for a good day tomorrow.

Give us a call if you need a haircut---we have reasonable rates!!!

OMG you guys did great! Lynn Craig called me and said to check out your picture! I can't believe you two did so well. Great idea, going alittle at a time. I think your hair looks shorter than the short wig you bought so it'll definately be subtle! Jan, I am so proud of the way you are handling this whole thing. You are my hero!!

Love you,
Kay

Jan - YOU LOOK BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! I know it's hard and my heart breaks reading about Jillian. She WILL get used to it eventually.... None of this process is easy - but you've got what it takes! I'm glad you are feeling "loopy" today (hehe).... It doesn't seem like you are as sick as last time - so I hope you have a good weekend. I love you so much!!!!!! Keep those pics coming..... I want to see you in your wigs.... I'm sorry about the hair loss - but it proves the chemo is doing it's stuff..... I love you. Sue

Jan,

I can't believe that you and Bret did that. It looks great!!! Believe it or not...I used to cut Sean's hair..way back when we were dating!!! LOL. I had no clue what I was doing. I was trying to emulate the salon..everything they do..hold your hair up between your two fingers, even it out!! It's hysterical to think back on it.
So glad to hear that you aren't as sick as the first round.
You are amazing!!!!
Have a great weekend.
Love,
Sheryl

You look amazing with short hair!! I didn't know you guys had that kind of talent! :) I'm sorry to hear that Jillian was upset over your hair loss - but I'm sure she will adjust soon. I'm glad you seem to be doing better with this round. You guys hang in there! Love ya! Linda
